What is Mindful May?
I need to be honest with you, meditation and mindfulness does not stop the stresses in life.
But, it does help you deal with them.
Think of this time as training. Practising for a game. We learn the rules, we learn the play, we get in amongst it and we have a go.
Sometimes we fail, because we are learning. then we pick ourselves off, have a chat to the coach (that’s me) and get back into the practise.
Then we are ready for the big day.
The difference is between a game and a stressful situation - we don’t know when it’s going to happen, and that’s why we always need to be prepared.
Meditation is used like having a savings account, a mental savings account.
We store up the mindful calming moments, so we can use them at any time.
Those times may be everyday things - a person may cut you off in traffic. You will find that you react differently and it may not get to you as much.
